The WI is here to enable women like you to make a difference to the life you lead, to the community here in Flackwell Heath, and to the world you live in. We can help you expand your horizons, make new friends, take up new interests, learn new crafts and develop new skills. The WI is a diverse and multi-faceted organisation. It is open to all women over the age of 18. It is democratic, non-party political, and welcomes women of any ethnic, religious or social origin whether in a relationship or not. Its concerns range from climate change to cooking, from crafts to community projects, from healthy eating to Fairtrade fortnights. Our current campaigns range from childrens diet to the environment, human trafficking, supermarket labelling and organ donation. We are happy to be radical in a good cause.
