In the light of the COVID pandemic and based on the advice received from the government and the Royal British Legion (RBL), sadly, there will not be the normal Remembrance Day parade this year.  Some of the larger organisations in the village who would normally parade, will be working on a short virtual parade which will be included as part of our online Remembrance Service.

However, in the meantime, it has been acknowledged that those organisations who normally participate as well as individual people and families might still want to lay a wreath or a cross etc.  We have therefore set-up a booking system where people can book a 15 minute slot where they will be able to do just that. These slots will run between 11.45 and 15.30 on Sunday 8th November and will be booked on-line on a first come first served basis.  Marshals will be present on the day to ensure social distancing is maintained at all times.
