THANK YOU
On Saturday, 11th February, at the Flackwell Heath Community Centre 100 people enjoyed an exciting night “at the races”, the first fundraising event organised by the 2012 Cherry Fayre Committee.
To all our friends who help us raise a huge £1,300 and to A1 Taxi Services for their generous sponsorship, thank you for your continued support.

FLACKWELL HEATH CHERRY FAYRE LIVES ON
One of the great successes in the village of Flackwell Heath in recent years has been the annual Cherry Fayre which has provided a great day out for families and helped to bring the community together.
To safeguard the continuation of this event a new, totally independent committee has been formed to run it. They will ensure that any surplus raised is distributed to local organisations with the minimum of delay.
Next year’s Cherry Fayre will be held on Sunday 8 July 2012, so make a note of the date now. The committee are delighted to announce that this event will be supporting “Friends of Flackwell Heath Library”, a community-based project working to ensure the survival of a public library service in the village.
