The Police & Traffic (PAT) group provides a representative platform for Flackwell Heath residents to present their views to Thames Valley Police and to Bucks CC, Wycombe DC and Chepping Wycombe PC on local matters. The group, chaired by David Onslow, meets monthly to discuss and put forward views on subjects covering police and traffic issues in the village and has bi monthly meetings with the local Police beat officer on local matters.
LOCAL HOT NEWS The Village Traffic Plan (VTP) has now been presented to the Bucks CC Local Area Committee. Disappointingly, the committee felt it could not discuss the plan for possible funding as it was a local issue and the plan should be referred back to the Chepping Wycombe/Wye Valley Forum. The Group are taking further advice on how to proceed. The consultancy period for the speed review covering the area has now finished. The PAT group has sent its views to the council Parking near Carrington & Juniper Hill schools is now being monitored by the police – beware
