Carrington Pre-School, established in 1975, is situated within Carrington Infant School. In July 1997, we were awarded a full accreditation by the Pre-School Learning Alliance. This accreditation is reviewed annually.

We aim to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment, in which children can develop social, intellectual, emotional and physical skills. Our emphasis is on 'Learning through Play'. We run sessions daily for children aged 3 and 4, with no more than 24 children per session. We have a limited number of places for rising 3 year olds. Our nursery group for the 4 year olds was inspected by OFSTED in October 2000 and received a good report.
